Patterned Pieces...

There are times when I'll stop dead in my tracks when I realize just how much of my mom and grandma I have in me.  Crafty in our own special ways, I find myself now appreciating AND DOING the things they once did.  My grandmother, who we all know and love as Nana, quilted for as long as I can remember.  She even had a group of ladies who would come over to her house just to quilt every week.  I wish now that her sweet hands could still make things like these... I could definitely keep her busy with these inspiring pieces. ;)  Or maybe this is just my next project.  I don't exactly know how to sew...or have a sewing machine for that matter, but it's in the blood... so I have no doubts that I could get it done if I really tried.  ;)  Maybe one day....  Until then... I'll just admire other people's handiwork.  :)
