Off to see the Wizard :)

Finding any excuse to celebrate our relationship, Chad and I marked the five month date til our wedding with a little trip to Fair Park. Having only been to one other musical in my life, (The Producers, in NYC) I was super excited to see one of Dallas' Summer Musicals, The Wizard of Oz! I must admit, it definitely EXCEEDED my expectations three-fold. It was awesome! The cast was absolutely amazing, capturing the characters personalities perfectly and the lighting and effects were awe inspiring. :)
Chad and I had a wonderful time and with sooooo many musicals left to see this summer, we're definitely going to have a tough time figuring out which to see next!! Suggestions anyone?? ;)
We ended our perfectly relaxing Sunday evening with a yummy trip to one of our FAVORITE Dallas restaurants Alo, where we ate to our little hearts content.
Life. Is. GREAT!

VERY FIRST Concert @ The NEW Cowboys Stadium!!! :)

Country Rock Stars... :)

Set amongst an All Star Country Cast, the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium opened it's doors for the very first time to throngs of eager and curious sports fans from all across Texas. Having purchased the rights to his very own seats in the stadium (for the next thirty years at least) my brother was amongst the curious, hoping to catch the first glimpse at his investment. No expense was spared when it came to the very first concert to bless the stadium, bringing in the biggest names in country music. Lee Ann Womack started the lineup which also included Blake Shelton, followed by Miss Reba, ending the night with a steller performance by Mr. George Strait himself.
